ok, so what else? um....oh! i got a new book. a tragicomic called Funhome by Alison Bechdel. so far i like it. it's pretty dark and extremely honest. her drawings are good. sometimes it bugs me the way people are drawn. makes it hard for me to read the story. but i like hers. wow. i am going to sign off now and try this again tomorrow.

had such a great wknd. really felt like summer. saw nacho libre w/ the boys. funny in a stupid kind of way. shot guns. yeah, that's right. swam. played guitars till the late nite. all in all i give it a 10. Whohhhhhhooooooo. Peace.

Woke up super early this morning. 4:30. The birds were singing and before I knew it the sun was rising. The light was amazing against the green green backdrop of trees and such. It made me both happy and sad. It made me miss my dad a lot. Then when I got to work I started deleting old messages from my work phone and one of them was my dad telling me his official race time in the boston marathon from 2 years ago. Whoa! I was NOT expecting to hear him. Startled me a bit. So I cried for a while and feel much better now. Think I will have to leave early and enjoy the rest of this beautiful day.

my hoodie smells like someone else has been wearing it. not a bad smell, just a different one. you know? it's like boys deoderant or similar, but not too strong. weird. someone is sneak wearing my clothes.hmmmm....
was digging round behind desk just now and found tiny plastic ninja riding a small plastic cat. forgot all about them. have them balancing on water bottle david blane style...wonder how long they can hold out before one of them collapses from exhaustion or has to piss. (i'm pretty sure the ninja has stage fright, so pissing in front of audience is prob not going to work for him.)
