they dug me my very own garden, gave me sunshine, made me happy...

that song (nice dream-radiohead) makes me think of being on different planet & the aliens take care of me. they just want me to be happy. they keep surprising me with things i love. gardens & honeybees & an old fashioned bicycle with the giant front tire. a pet giraffe that has a pet monkey. 15ft. rocking horse. a see-saw. nice italian wine. toast and egg salad. arugela. a rope swing. but i miss my friends. so they abduct them. we are all free to go whenever we want. just say the word. but we won't remember anything. we'll just know a bit of time has passed. we lost an hour that we can't account for, but really it was days.

isnt it funny how you make up you own meaning to songs. I do the same thing all the time - i have a whole little movie that plays with music.

Me and bob (i think it was bob) had a big converstaion a million years ago (problbly on drugs) about how awsome it would be if you could hear other peoples life soundtracks or see what they think when they listen to music.

i think we all want to be that girl :)

I actually have a story that is suuuper similar to that song so i always think of that when i hear it.

lucky! i don't have a real story i don't think. you & bob's conversation def sounds drug induced. i can't work today. it's just not happening.
i am extra happy today for several reasons. almost annoying myself.
1. got oh the irony in mail
2. a printer guy gave me a 3 volume series of star charts for free! serious score.
3. had really tasty hummus veg wrap + butternut soup & aesops wrote love letter on my soup lid.

bonaroo is right before skats wedding. i would drive up and catch it on the way but im selling my jeep tomorrow. going to drive geoffs "brittish" car until i move into downtown in june and can walk everywhere.
the brittish car is white with the brittish flag painted over the entire thing. tacky austin powers. wacky flippin wanker. BUT it moves so i cant complain. silly though.
KAT i will send you and audio recorder to record the show. sad sad. another time. the line up is unbeleivable! ATMOSPHERE is there as well. sigh. i will have to catch my fav artists seperately. sometimes smaller shows are better. big festivals tend to water it down. RADIOHEAD will be wonderful!

when exactly are you going? oh i want to go! i love trips. maybe i can work it out so i can go. i have saved some $ for a trip b4 school starts and was thinking it would be august, but maaybe i could work something out.

i was thinking of leaving around the 19th of june. But im really looking for cheap tickets so... May/june is supposed to be the best riding because july starts the tourist busy season. So anyway the plan as of now is 3 weeks, southeast rides.

Ive toned down the trip alot because i was reading a biking magazine and basically what i was planning all along was like an iron man tour. Way to much and i didnt really realize it. So three weeks, chill riding, staying in hostels. I would like to fit in a train ride through some of the inland.

Basically supplies needed are 1. a bike (does not have to be brand new but should be fairly light and tuned up). 2. Saddle bags for your bike (you dont want to ride witha backpack for three weeks...ouch. 3. some biking clothes (padded shorts are a mucst - saddle sores, not cool) and travling clothes (travling underwear (bought at ems or whatever). 4. Plane ticket $300-$400 rt. 5. And $1000.00 max (hostels are $10-$15 a night) spening money (for hostels, food and beer).
6. a passport ( still havent done that :(

i have to go so early because i got to get a job with this degree im going to have!

Anonymous said...

holy crap you'll have a degree!
that sounds like a fun trip. all i have for a bike is an old school schwinn that weighs like 600 pounds. don't think i can go as early as june either. so that blows trolls.

Anonymous said...

a solo trip sounds really freakin cool though. and you really have it planned out.

Teneisha R. S. Jones said...

i would want to do solo if i was just backpacking. But for some reason biking and solo dont sound very fun togther. I dunno well see.

But as for a bike - you can get a nice enough bike for like $150. I actually have one that Im selling that is a bit to big for me.
