99 problems but a bitch ain't one

i finally made a real friend at school. finally! she is a girl. film production graduate. is working on an indie rite now to send to sundance. pretty rad. we have lots of randomn shit in common which is always fun when you meet someone new. turns out we both want to fuck rockstars and ari from entourage--because he is such an asshole. also like same music blah blah blah...

we like to sit around and make fun of sorority girls. we call them "e's" cuz they are all named either ashlee or courtney. (um i know my name ends in and "e" and so does hers, but that doesn't count.)
the other day one of the "e's" came into the exchange office where we work and said "uhhh is Italy like considered part of Europe?". WTF? i am definitley not a genius, but i have to wonder how she made it to her junior year not knowing that. wow.

anyways, i was starting to feel REALLY lonely at school. and i am there ALL the freaking time. so it is great to have a supersmart awesome girl to hang out with. makes a difference.

ps: i ate a ton of super spicy indian food last nite and now i have the worst gas ever. ugh. no wonder vic went home so early this morning. i am eating oatmeal to try to counteract it...not sure why i think it will work, but have a feeling meg would suggest it.

pss: after reviewing this post before publishing i realize i come off sounding like an uppity snob, which is just as bad as being an "e". hmmm. not so cool. i will post it anyways.

hi. i am chowing down a bagel like someone is gonna take it away from me. have to work for a couple of hours today and then study. woke up w/ giant headache from cheap tequilla. no bueno at all. eww. went out last nite to celebrate friend giving notice at work. fun. i think we are going to NYC on friday to celebrate some more. ummm yeah, i don't really have anything to say. more of the same. der.
oh and i have to decide today which trip to go on for school. there is an ecuador trip where i'd study in the andes mtns and a rainforest, or a marine biology trip where i'd scuba dive in coral reefs. i get 3-4 credits for whichever trip i take. and they cost the same. i don't know what to do, can't do both. both are credits towards my major/minor.

hey dudes. here is a quick update. crazy w/ school and shit. am half asleep at mo and just want to smoke some pot and nap in the sun.

montreal was fun. got to catch a sox/yanks game in hotel room and nap a little b4 hitting town. fun. spent yesterday/nite in boston w/ dude. ate good food and shopped. spent to much $ on pants but they are fucking hot. new chucks, new laces, new music. fuck. oops. whatever. okay, i have LOTS to say but am retarded from no sleep. grabbed a quick nap between yesterday & today. this post is so stupid. sorry, but i love you and needed to say hola.

gd effing update already!!

hey dudes. yeah, so i HAVE been on everyone's blog but my own. der. super busy trying to settle into this new existance as student. need to learn how to splell betttter for one thing so i can decipher my notes more efficiently. also need to develop some study habits that don't involve napping w/ art history book on my face. (the osmosis thing is really not workin for me yo).
had fun weekend. bike riding, tequilla shots, cosmos n beer. dude & i bbq-ed some serious food and watched la femme nakita & undercovah brotha. spent yesterday in boston w/ both the dudes & ate good asian food, went go-carting, ate good indian and just had a fun time planning what we will do when we win powerball. here is a short list:

• fix my moped
• get some ferraris (dudes, not me--i have a moped remember?)
• buy house in vancouver & move in together
• buy hot airballoon - the part where you sit will be a glass-bottom jacuzzi
• sit around in bathrobes & watch cable television

okay, so there is my update. i had a bunch of pics on last post but my computer crashed b4 i could publish. grrrr. and there are some hot ones of Teneisha & I molesting Ronald McDonald. When I get home i will put them up.

hi. i just woke up and thought i'd update a bit. sorry no pics till i get home though. saw some pretty rad music last nite. ten's post pretty much covers it so go there if you haven't already.
i am totally loving this place. I will def be back fo sho. it is the best of both worlds. teneisha's apt is right in dt hillcrest. everything is like 2 steps away from her door-- food, amazing thrift stores, shoes, hot boys... I love it. And Meg has a sick house right across from beach. It is sooo freakin nice there it makes me want to stay forever (i wouldn't mind sleeping in garage meggie...). Right on. Okay, my tea is ready and I should do some dishes cuz i've totally trashed this apt. also need to figure out how to get back into apt from street cuz there are cute shoes i want to check out but tennis is gone to job interview and has the keys...hmmmm. will just scale the building spidy-style.

so, here i am in vancouver. long effing trip. i came here via houston. i seriously don't think i could have had a longer flight. i slept the whole time so it wasn't bad really. got in real late. drank some beers w/ vic & then he drove me around the city.
my hostel was awesome. took ten's advice and made sure to talk to everyone. fun. made friends with girl from australia, brittish couple from texas & 4 dudes from holland. we ate breakfast together in the communal kitchen and shot the shit for a while.
i walked all over the place this morning. this city is super clean and easy to navigate. spent a lot of time looking for an internet cafe and finally found one like one block over from my hostel. duh. i noticed that no one here walks around smoking & talking on cell phones. that is refreshing.
tonight we drink beers and ride cruiser bikes along the seawall. tomorrow maybe mountain biking up at whistler. i hope i see a sasquatch.

21 saturdays....

yeah, so i am officially unemployed. feels kind of strange to think that everyday will be like saturday for the next 3 weeks. except will be celebrating solo as everyone i hang out with will be at work. boo. had fun going away dinner w/ my best buds at pearl. received 5 bottles of good wine & a real ninja throwing star w/ carrying case as going away presents. ha!!!

i have to pack up my shit in greenfield so my dude friends can move it all in one trip next weekend. am not really looking forwsard to going over there. weird to walk in door and everything is exactly how we left it 3 months ago. creepy time standing still type of feeling. it's the one place where i can feel my old self present somewher in the shadows. wierd and sad all at once. also the refrigerator has food in it from May. yikes. think i should duct tape the door shut and bring it to waste management.

super excited for my trip out to see you chics in cali. prob won't want to leave. i was watching tv recently and there was a dog surfing in socal somewhere. (a jack russel) the ocean looked sooooo damn nice i could feel it. will be fun to stay at both yer places too. yay! am excited for vancouver too. prob smoke lots of pot and ride bikes along the seawall i hear. haha. i am staying at a hostel in a really cool neighborhood the first nite. i guess it's next to the animation design school and it's a fun hip-ish area to hang. (maybe will finally get some action?) good times.

chels n I checked out our new neigborhood today. had nice breakfast in town. aside from being slightly hungover it was pretty nice. am happy to move and stuff. hang w/ some new peeps. go to school. it's not ny, or whatever but there are a few more options when in the mood for a martini or what have you.

Hey chicas, what's happening? So here is a little update. Chels totally got that house in Keene. She closes on the 11th & we can move right in. It's exactly 1 mile from downtown, so that is good. I can ride my bike to school! The shortcut is through that massive graveyard. Fun. I like that. I gave my notice at work. My last day is next Friday. Whoa. Okay, so I am freaking out a little about the cash-flow situation, but wtf am i gonna do? Cry about it. Hardly. Well, maybe a little. Loans, loans, loans. Taking the plunge into debt. Whatever, I could die tomorrow and then I'd never know what it's like to be a scientist. Or juggle. I've been meaning to learn.

Hi. Hmm, let's see....been quite the redneck as of late. Still 4wheeling like mad. Have a cute outfit I wear. Black dress, black converse, black shades and black brain-bucket helmet (you know the type that offer no protection, but look badass.) It has been fun. But we can get a little reckless. Maybe we should be playing guitar instead.
Today is my nephews b-day. He is eleven. I got him the first Clash cd. He will be psyched. So will I when I DLonto my computer.
Not much else going on. Getting ready to move. If all goes well w/ Chels's house stuff, she closes on the eleventh. Keep you fingers crossed. Am pretty damn exctited to have a place for a year. Then on to west coast I hope, to a bigger school. Look out Meg AND Teneisha! I want to volunteer for the Pacific Whale Foundation on Maui next summer if I can so I am looking into that too. Yeah, so I don't know where this energy came from that I've had for the last 2 days. I feel totally manic. Is it possible that I am just happy about leaving work and starting school and moving, w/ an even bigger move in mind? I think so.
I have a bum thumb at mo. Cut it. Was trying to use a nasty piece of glass that I found on floor of barn as a knife. I keep checking for red line that indicates blood poisoning. So far so good.
ooooook....so i don't have a lot to talk about, just wanted to tell you whats up.
here is a list anyways of what i need to accomplish tonight:

• fix car title w/ town clerk
• download more tool to ipod
• watch la femme nikita? (been meaning to do that)
• play guitar & memorize new stuff from Tues. lesson
• write notes on napkins for ben & isabella's lunch boxes for daycamp (they love me. i heard bella telling a friend of hers about me "my aunt kate is WEIRD but she is really nice...)
• have a glass and put my feet up

had quite the redneck weekend. ignored all responsibilites/deadlines and went 4wheeling w/ my friend. i think we may go tonight... i am a great influence on him. oh, and shot pellets at bottles of diet coke stuffed w/ mentos. nice explosion.
have had limited access to computer at home and no time while at work. but stay tuned...i am still all over this blogging thing. yo.
