was digging round behind desk just now and found tiny plastic ninja riding a small plastic cat. forgot all about them. have them balancing on water bottle david blane style...wonder how long they can hold out before one of them collapses from exhaustion or has to piss. (i'm pretty sure the ninja has stage fright, so pissing in front of audience is prob not going to work for him.)

Hi. Was w/o internet all wknd. Well except dial up and don't ever feel like dealing with that. Here is my to do list for week. Not so interesting, but whatev. You love it.

• go to hair appt. (skipping the coloring part cuz am poor)

• remember to take isabella to school. (jen crashed her motorcycle on sat n broke leg. scary. called ambulance from my cell for first time ever.)

had dream last nite that i got kicked out of catholic school. i was always in trouble and hanging around with this punk boy and making out. it was like a never ending dream. i had to wear a stupid uniform, but i had a wool hat with a skull on it. the nuns were such bitches! at one point they took away my breakfast so i flipped and said to the head nun "FUCK YOU SISTER!" And then i got expelled and went look for that punk boy who turned out to be a scumbag so i ditched him.

good day sunshine!!!!! am about to go to lunch. hmmmm, think will get from aesops and then sit on sarah's roof to eat.
am moved into brothers house, but staying w/ sarah? i dunno. saw bryan last nite and tried to get him back. totally rejected. again. have to let it go but it is so hard. letting go prob feels better though, come to think of it. heart hurts.
wish i had some kind of distraction, like a crush or even a stupid fling. just one nite. but i don't. not a lot of options in area. oh well, it is what it is.
but guess what? i am awesome. and any stupid boy would be lucky to have me. so there.

had dream that sun came out and everyone at work started cheering and my boss and i high-fived. funny!
so i am moving to my brothers house for a bit. they suggested i take it one step at a time w/ quitting job & school and all. think i'll listen for once. will have own room. and a friggin bed! don't have much stuff, so that is a relief. here is a list of things to move with:

8. playing guitar w/ guitar teacher and then going home and discovering that I can still do it
9. sleeping in a bed (twice this week!)
10. realizing there will always be cute boys around
11. realizing i can always move and sarah will come if i want her to. anywhere. vice versa.

kind of weak list, but I'M TRYING! YEAH, I'M TRYING to drink away the part of the day i cannot sleep away...

yeah, so i'm still on my The Cure kick today.

good days, just one crappy thing.

today i had a lucky day. scored 3 new albums from 3 random people. weird. i must have a sign on my head that says "please burn me a disc of something new to listen to." seriously it happened 3 times in 2 hours. also, i had a moment in my car yesterday where i realized that i LOVE the cure. i don't just dig them, i love them.
only one crappy thing happened...i found out that i have to go to milwaukee (sp?) for the catalog press run. for FIVE days. i'm not talking going to the city, i mean the outskirts w/ the crappy industrial parks & print warehouses. did i say FIVE days? yeah. and the worst part (yes, it gets worse) is that we have to check the print runs, which could be at anytime. 2am, 4pm, 6am....on call for FIVE days. i will look at it as a unique experience and just sit in my apartment and play guitar and read. maybe it won't be so bad.
tennis, i would have stayed if i didn't have 2 others w/ me & no car. that would have been fun. i actually have your # w/ me in case i am in boston suddenly, which happens. will be there wednesday i think.

Car naps are my favorite.

highlights of wknd = balthus paintings at met. dogwoods in bloom & flowers everywhere. walk through park in the rain. (it was freezing but still fun.) making dinner. discovering that i like brooklyn way more than village/soho area. discovering i really do in fact hate midtown. discovering that sarah's hand-me-down metro card had like 12 rides left on it. score. getting new school bag at brooklyn industries. (shoulder bag that converts to back pack. i call it my jet-pack. cool + i am supporting local artists.) laughed a whole lot. finished wknd w/ pizza at gibraldis, which i am sure is spelled wrong, under the brooklyn bridge. got there just in time. when we left, there was a line 1/2 way round the block. all in all, a good time. love kat.

Took a total digger this morning, ripped my pants, got stuck on a nail, bruised, but not bleeding somehow. It was pretty funny actually. (after my eyes stopped watering).
Friend lent me new book to read. Geek Love. Some of you have prob read.
Took longish lunch and talked about magnum p.i., etc. w/ him & boss.
Keep checking my leg, hoping that I have a dramatic looking bruise...I don't bruise very easily at all. (why?) Am starting to get a little something.! love, kate.
